Yoga Teacher Training

When mind, body, and spirit merge, a unique path through this world is revealed.

The 200-hour Teacher Training at Earth Yoga NYC strives to create modern teachers through the lens of traditional disciplines. We stay connected to the past while living our yoga in the present moment. The training aims to assist students in understanding their practice while gaining real-life tools to make yoga into a successful career in a competitive economy, or to simply deepen their practice in a uniquely profound way.

While combining the wisdom, works and practices of the yogic arts with the modern interests of fitness, health, and self-awareness, students will also be honing specific management and leadership skills so that working one-on-one with clients, leading group classes, or negotiating employment opportunities becomes second nature.

Students will find their voice, while guiding gently toward ultimate self-expression.

In addition to learning theory, students will also discover how to apply the academic aspects to real, relevant yoga teaching situations. Our curated faculty was handpicked for their world-class teaching skills and their generosity of spirit. From sequencing, physical and verbal adjustments, the science and anatomy of yoga, to cultivating a meditation practice and understanding the Bhagavad Gita, be prepared for a transformative journey.

Students will be nurtured along the path of mastering life, through developing both asana and esoterics, and will come away with applicable accessible expertise in communication, leadership, and teamwork. Our Master Instructors will emphasize mindfulness, alignment, the art of assisting, intentional teaching, and living your philosophy.
